SPIRUTUAL FORMULA

In the minds of many spiritual seekers there is a grotesque spiritual equation: I read + I practice + I meditate + I help = I am self-realized But in truth "I study," plus" I practice ", plus "I meditate", plus" I sacrifice" is not the same as "self-realization ". I read + I practice + I meditate + I help = Great I Be careful not to confuse the Impersonal Self with a big ego. The Impersonal Self is not a special me or a spiritual me. The Impersonal Self is absence of me, I, mine! (ZeRo - from ita book "Senz'io si vive da Dio")

DO NOT DO NOTHING

If you want to dwell in the state in which I am dwelling or in which any self-realized being dwells, you must NOT DO anything physically. You don't have to employ the senses of the body. If you use even a single sensory organ to achieve self-realization then you are misrepresenting this simple message in which I point out that physically you don't have to do NOTHING! No special bodily maneuver is needed to accomplish what your whole being aspires to! Practices don't get you into that state. Words don't bring you closer to that. Discipline and sacrifices don't give you access to that. The positive karma of your good deeds and dear feelings does not offer you that. The merits accumulated in this or previous lives do not assure you of that. That unconditional state is free and independent of the body, physical sensations, words. Everything that involves the body pushes you further and further, it takes you more and more out

Spiritual MVP of the week: PAUL HEDDERMAN

PAUL HEDDERMAN 4/5 stars _ PRO: Like Jed, Paul too is decidedly witty, self-deprecating, outspoken, genuine. Certainly - from a social point of view - he is more genuine than Jed since he has not hidden his identity. I don't know Paul personally, I just listened to his speeches on YouTube and it was certainly a pleasant discovery. He manages to express himself brilliantly: his examples, metaphors, aphorisms are beautiful pearls of wisdom. His way of interpreting and simplifying the messages of ancient Zen masters, Ramana, a Course in miracles, etc. is interesting. The suggestion not to worry about "what you really are" and to worry exclusively about "what you are not" is brilliant. In some ways it recalls Alfred Korzybski's principle of non-identity applied to spiritual research. As in the case of Jed, Paul's main advantage is his disenchantment. _ VERSUS: I do not know. Basically I see it as he does. If we want to find or invent a de

I WASN'T ME

During the high school exam, a friend of mine was very surprised by my oral presentation and in the end he made an observation that I could not forget: "Jonny, I didn't recognize you ... that wasn't you!" "Those words couldn't come to you, I've never heard you speak that way." _ And my spontaneous joke was: "Yeah, that's true. What you saw was not me and what you heard was not mine. " _ At the beginning I had not grasped the depth of that answer, but then I realized that in that circumstance my mind had distanced itself for a moment from the illusory identity with which I felt identified. Years later, that episode remained impressed in my mind because it demonstrated in a striking way the NO-identity between the person conceived by me (or by others) and what I really am. Then, years later, I could not explain that inner process to me, I only knew that the identity seen by others was not my true ide

1 - spiritual MVP

Modern spiritual MVP of the week JED MCKENNA 4/5 stars PRO: Witty, direct, straightforward, concise, pragmatic, not at all new age ... in short, illuminating. His way of writing is captivating, pungent, ironic (at the right point). It has the ability to elegantly dispel any myth: not only the spiritual myths that delude many researchers, but also the myths with which much of humanity deludes itself. Shoot everything, especially Maya, the goddess of sensory illusions. At the same time, he admits that he has a weakness for the bizarre manifestations of the cosmic dream: he loves young and beautiful girls, good food, the playstation, extreme sports such as skydiving. In short, a bizarre Spiritual Guide. Of course it doesn't take anything seriously. He knows too well that it's all a game. And as a cosmic player he seems to be doing well. In my opinion, its main advantage is disenchantment. Reading it - or listening to his audiobook - you may have the
