We like to pretend and then believe our fictions.

What we hate instead is Awakening.

We hate to stop dreaming, stop deluding ourselves, stop hoping, stop fantasizing.

We are so infatuated with fictions that we can't stop pretending anymore.

We are infatuated with the ridiculous human character we mistakenly believe we are.

But if you love human fiction more than beyond-human Truth then you deserve all human tragedy.

If you prefer personal history over impersonal Reality, you deserve all the misery of the ridiculous character you are identified with.
