The sense of 'I' is like a normal Geo-localization mechanism, with the slight drawback that there is no one to locate.

EGO-locator can be considered as the generator of the sense of the 'me, my, mine'; the generator of that impression - or that series of impressions - that you live every day and that makes you say:
"I AM IN THIS BODY",
'I LIVE IN THIS WORLD',
'I AM FRANK... I AM LUISA ...',
'I AM NICE, WELL EDUCATED, SPECIAL, SPIRITUAL', 'I HAVE TO DO ... I HAVE TO REALIZE ...',
'I MUST GO ... I MUST SEARCH ... I MUST REACH ... I HAVE TO ARRIVE TO ...'
 
Those incessant impulses are due to the EGO-Locator which is booming in your head.
 
 
Do not trust your EGO-locator; the location signaled by your intellect is not real, it is a false signal, it is a sensory illusion, a joke of nature.
Look at it well, look at it thoroughly, and you'll see that it actually does not detect anything. -
 
The EGO-locator is insignificant because does not detect anything relevant! Nothing consistent, real, true!

Let the EGO-locator keep ringing, do not listen to it, do not be alarmed at the sound of its alarm, do not follow its signals.
Do not feed it with your attention, do not give it your energy, do not waste your time listening to it, analyze it, rework it, evaluate it, judge it.
Treat it like a busted gps, a bankruptcy system, a useless device, an inconclusive means.

What do you care about 'locating' yuorself?
Do you really need to identify the essence of what you are?
Do you think the 'Self' it's really localizable?
 
Trust me, you can not locate the position of Consciousness.
You can not identify Being.

You can not identify your 'true identity'.

There are no maps (even spiritual ones) that can guide someone in search of Self. No satellite navigator can track you down.
You are not identifiable!

But above all it is not necessary to do it.

Do not be persuaded by that part of you that needs to understand-explain-define 'who it is'; that part that identifies with the character you think you are. That part identifies with everything and everyone because it is not able to remain without identification; is afraid that without 'identification' or without attachment to the habitual identity (family, social identity, and so on) it may lose its identity. And because of this fear it seeks continuous reference points, one of all the spiritual references.
Know that you do not need references and that in any case there are no reference points regarding what you really are. Above all, you do not need points of reference.

The points of reference can serve you when you go to the supermarket, to the bar, to the restaurant... only there can they be of any use.

Rejoice that no EGO-locator can ever find you.
Rejoice in the Vastity thanks to which nothing and nobody can define you, identify you or place you. -
